Providing guidance into an architect's career

previous pagenext page

We all know how difficult it can be to decide which career to follow at the age of 18. For this reason, the Royal Institute of the British Architects devised this booklet, which was written especially to inform potential architecture students what the profession is about and how to get there.

Containing a mix of information about architecture, testimonials, a simplified 'route to qualification', and lots of practical advice, the document aims at introducing youngsters to the broad range of careers in the built environment. Widely illustrated and with a very concise language, the design uses the grid in different ways to create visual variety while keeping the information simple and clear. The booklet was so well received that the Institute had to order a second print-run three months after its launch.
