Overview | Main Menu |
Produced for the biggest theatre festival in Brazil, ‘Risco’ (Risk) was created by the actress and musician Melina Mulazani doing an intimate performance in which the actress herself took the risk. By jumping into the void and dealing with her own experiences of love and pain she exposed herself in a disconcertingly honest way.
The poster, inspired by the work of artist Lucio Fontana, intended to capture the same idea; the risk one takes when doing something that cannot be undone. With a very small budget, the posters were silkscreened onto brown paper and then individually cut, one by one, by the actress herself.
