Overview | Main Menu |
Edith is a Swiss musician living in Curitiba, Brazil. Her debut album ‘Lîla’ is an intimate collection of her own compositions, in both French and German, in which the singer is accompanied only by a piano. The title of the CD, ‘Lîla’, is a concept within Hinduism that literally means 'play'.
With a quite feminine and lyrical repertoire, the singer had this image of a garden and a maze, that can be seen both as a game and a journey of self-discovery. The graphics for the CD were inspired by the idea of gardens and flowers. The lyrics are printed on loose sheets that, when turned around, become a puzzle, garden, or maze.
