Antonina Winter Festival
An art festival in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest

previous pagenext page

Antonina is a small colonial town in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, in the South of Brazil, mainly known for its neo-tropical forest, full of palms, bromelia species and banana trees.

Every year in July, the winter festival brings an overdose of cultural events to an otherwise bucolic town, with visitors coming from all over Brazil, eager to live immersed in music and art for a week.

When designing the poster I thought of how these visitors and artists, confronted with such exotic beauty, would behave if invited to play a role in nature's creation.

This poster received the 1st Prize in the Poster Contests for the 8th edition of the Winter Festival of The Federal University of Paraná
