Mafaro
Music with no borders, ethnicity or colour
André Abujamra is a critically acclaimed Brazilian musician, singer, guitarist, actor and comedian. His sound can be described as ‘pop world music' as for him music has no borders, ethnicity or colour; everything and anything is an excuse to create.
On his third solo album, 'Mafaro', Abujamra gave me complete freedom to create my own interpretation of his work. My response was a graphic maze in which colours and lines meet, travel and interact in an apparent chaos, but all of them converge in the same place: Mafaro.
